Sales Manager

We have a current vacancy for a full-time Sales Manager to join the team, based in Brisbane.

Reporting to the GM Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager is primarily responsible for leading and inspiring the Suncoast sales team to meet and exceed goals, while also building and sustaining strong connections with key clients

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set and achieve sales targets aligned with company goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and train the sales team to reach objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Track sales performance and prepare regular management reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Manage government tender opportunities.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and customer satisfaction.

 The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Sales management experience in the food industry
  • Previous experience leading and developing teams to deliver upon required outcomes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret sales data and use it to make informed business decisions
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies
  • Team player
