Human Resources Manager
We have a current vacancy for a full-time Human Resources Manager to join the team, based in Brisbane.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for strategically managing human resources within an organisation, ensuring alignment with its goals and objectives while fostering a positive work culture focused on our “Just Cause.”
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, ensuring compliance with Australian employment laws.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, handle grievances, and manage disciplinary actions.
- Develop and manage performance management systems to boost productivity and engagement.
- Implement Learning and Development programs per Australian Qualifications Framework standards.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs in line with Australian wage laws.
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Enhance employee engagement and retention through recognition and wellness programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records using Employment Hero, ensuring compliance with Australian Privacy Principles.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in business or HR.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian labour law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with a strong ethical framework.
- Ability to stay informed on HR trends and adapt strategies.
- Computer literate; experience with Employment Hero is a plus.
